Schooner - Purebred Yellow Lab;
Born September 2001; Adopted May 2005; Gone December 2006
The girls have brought many, many hours of pleasure to our lives and a few not so pleasant. Guinness is VERY active and requires daycare a couple of days a week to use up her energy. Schooner on the other hand is more docile as she has health issues and comes to work with us everyday. They get along great and have learned how to share toys, beds, food and affection. Guinness loves to go for walks and is a handful when we meet other dogs or kids on bikes. Schooner would rather lie on the back deck in the sunshine.

Schooner before
being adopted
Guinness is scared of the hose as I believe it was a tool used to keep her from barking but Schooner will play in the sprinkler all day.They are very protection of their owners and of their home when new folks come to visit but settle down quickly when offered a treat. We couldn't ask for better companions and can only hope that through medication we can keep them around to entertain us for a very long time.
