Description: My name is Tazi and I was adopted on August 19th, 2006. I had my 6th birthday on Oct .28 th 2006.
My original owner realized that he did not have much time to spend with me and my health issues further compounded the problem. He chose to contact Lab Rescue rather than have me euthanized and I will be forever grateful to him for that decision. I will also be forever grateful to Trish who made the decision to contact my new mom one more time (even though Mom had already decided not to take me as she didn’t think that with all of my health problems I would have the physical endurance to be a good match for their 6yr. old lab Millie).
Well today I am a very happy and active girl. I look and feel years younger; I have my girlish figure back (I’ve lost 22 pounds);I am now able to be physically active; and I have had only one seizure in the last 5 months! I have learned to play with other dogs; and I can now keep up with Millie in races around the yard, in tugs of war and on our long walks. She and I do everything together and we would be lost without one another.
My new Mom and Dad can’t believe how fortunate they are to have been chosen as my new family! Thanks to Lab Rescue I am bringing them endless joy and I know that I was meant to spend the rest of my life with them. Life is doggone good! Thank you Trish and Lab Rescue! -- Tazi
