Description: When our sweet, spirited pup recently died at 14, I wasn't sure who could replace her in our hearts. But then our beloved Peaches, all 100 gorgeous pounds of her, came bounding into our lives. From Day 1 of her arrival (coinciding with a surprise dinner party for my birthday!), she has melded into our family with happy tail wags and sloppy kisses. From that first day she also commandeered a downstairs couch as her own, which was also the favourite lounging spot of our previous pooch, so she was welcome to it. Since then she has been to a nursing home to say hello to the residents and has just generally been a joy to all she meets. She's also working on those last "few extra pounds" that we can all relate to. I can't say enough about her foster mom and dad from the Labrador Rescue Club of Nova Scotia, who can no doubt take a lot of credit for Peaches' happy disposition and good health. She has brought nothing but joy to our lives.
